been smirking at the relationship updates, cos it ALWAYS freaks me out how quickly people reply to a change in relationship status on facebook. SERIOUSLY. 33 comments in 12 hours? i might as well hold my wedding on fb. you can paypal my redpacket over. :)

so lorien and i did a test. we WANTED to "be in a relationship" and then delete each other as friends - just to see if the status will automatically be removed. a part of me hoped that it'd go "[insert broken-heart emoticon] lorien and jo have ended their relationship - in fact, they're no longer friends!"

on another note, shannon came over today for dinner! i dont understand how i can always hang out with her and yet still enjoy the unspoken understanding and take comfort in knowing that she's a friend for life. some people say you make your best friends in your secondary life, some people say you know them in JC (hello bro james!), i say you know them when you're ready.

i was tearing open my packet of tortellini when i heard the sound of a crisp thing hitting the floor. ohhhh holy cow. COCKROACH?! no wait. i've never seen one in this house. stay calm. i picked up this yellow piece of thing on the floor and threw it into the bin. so i proceeded to make a bigger tear in the packet. AND AGAIN. this time, i saw my tortellini falling to the floor. i've never thought before that i was as blonde as lorien makes me out to be. i was exploring the top while the packet rained tortellini, before i realised they were falling from the bottom. right.

so i put it to boil and set to await shannon's arrival...

and she was just in time to cook the sauce, and pour in the minced meat she bought!
